Market Samurai recently made some changes to the functionality of their Rank Tracker module. Of course they didn’t do this just for the fun of it. Market Samurai depends on the data that it collects from the search engines as well as third party companies. As with anything that depends on outside data they are subject to another companies, specifically Google’s, whims.
If you currently use Market Samurai you would have probably noticed the service interruption, but in true Noble Samurai fashion they owned up to it and made it right in the end. Albeit with a few changes.
Below I share a video that demonstrates a few of the changes with rank track and how they may affect you.
In total the changes have very little effect for me. I don’t use rank tracker daily, so I can wait the extra time. I have run the rank tracker with no delay and it speeds up the process drastically.
I would recommend that you run it without the time filter as a last resort. Otherwise, just multi-task and don’t worry about it.
